What design tools should we use?

It is common for people to receive tasks to design posters, notecards and presentations. However, what are some of the apps we can use to design better? Here is a list of the websites/applications I use to design!

Table of Contents

  1. Canva
  2. Goodnotes
  3. Adobe Spark

Canva

Canva works wonders when you are tasked to create posters and presentations! I remember using Canva to design a document for my DSA interview, to give the interviewees multiple QR codes for them to scan and access my creations! Here are some of the documents I created with Canva.

Although Canva is a freemium application, I was able to get some templates for free, together with some free images for my use. This website allows us to create stunning documents within a short period, which makes this website my go-to choice as a design tool.

Goodnotes

Although Goodnotes is a note-taking app, I took advantage of this app to create multiple documents. One of my favourite features is the stickers feature, which gives me options of pre-made illustrations for me to use. You do have to buy the app to be able to use it, but in the long run, it is all worth it.

Adobe Spark

This website is pretty much similar to Canva. It has plenty of templates for us to choose from and makes designing documents easily. However, I would prefer to use Canva because of its user interface.
